Iraq: The Iraqi Airways’ daily workers has become contractual workers

The Iraqi Airways company suspended the decision regarding the daily employees of the company.

According to a document issued by the director general of the airline, it was decided to "change all the daily workers to contractual workers starting from February 1, 2019".

According to a source in the company's management of the Euphrates, this administrative order "has been urgently stopped, after hours of its issuance because of the discovery that 100 employees working as daily workers were appointed without administrative orders, so its implementation has been postponed until the settling of these workers’ situations."

The House of Representatives approved the budget of 2019 and included the change of all daily workers in ministries and state institutions to contractual workers.
