The Board of Trustees of Yarmouk University approved on the demands of the faculty members to go back to the proportion of the return rates of the parallel program to as it was before.
The Vice President of Yarmouk University, Dr. Anis Al-Khasawna, said that this decision will not affect the financial dues of administrators and teachers and that they will be disbursed by 48.5% as before.
Al-Khasawna confirmed that the decision of the Board of Trustees is valid starting from yesterday, according to the Jordanian Labour Observatory.
Dozens of the faculty members at the university launched an open strike on Monday to protest against the reduction in their return rates from the parallel education program.
