The teachers' union in the province of Muthanna called on cadres, yesterday, to participate in the strike, which will be held on 17 and 18 of next month.
The union calls for the reform of the educational system and the provision of housing for the teachers, as well as, the disbursement of promotions.
The union said in its statement that it called on all the educational cadres in all schools in the province to participate in the strike, in order to pressure the government agencies to achieve those demands, while it called also the headmasters to allow teachers participate in the strike.
