Last Sunday, the Lebanese workers and civil society organizations organized a big protest from the Barbir Square to the finance’s headquarters in Bishara El Khoury defending a decent living, asking for all the citizens’ rights for water, electricity, housing, employment, health care, as well as the development of the infrastructure.
In a statement, the trade unions called on continuing these movements in order to obtain their rights and pressure on the ruling authority to provide all the necessary for a decent life, renewing the call to "expand their movements in all sectors and regions, in order to achieve these legitimate rights."
