The anti-trafficking organization accuses the Houthi of kidnapping and trading in women in Sanaa

The Yemeni Organization for the Suppression of Human Trafficking warned the Al-Houthi militia of trying to justify the crimes of kidnapping and the hiding of dozens of Yemeni women, as well as, practicing the worst forms of torture and violation on them in the history of Yemen.

The organization expressed its regret that the leaders appointed by the Houthi group in the Department of Criminal Investigation continue to carry out this job, led by the leader Sultan Zaben.

The organization said that Sultan Zaben was involved in crimes that violated the Yemeni through their blackmailing, looting their jewellery and money and imprisoning them to use them to make profits.

The organization said in its statement that the condemned acts will remain a disgrace to the Houthis unless the group takes serious steps and measures to stop this crime, stressing that it work by all legitimate means to reveal these crimes to the local and international public opinion to protect the Yemeni women of those gangs.

The organization said that it had received new information about the atrocities committed on women and girls in secret and illegal prisons and that it would soon publish and prepare legally for the prosecution of all those involved in these crimes and these violations in front of the Yemeni and international courts.
