The Assistant Secretary-General for Information and Publication of the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions, Jaafar Khalil Ibrahim, said that the union is planning to hold a conference on the rights of domestic workers, in cooperation with the regional partners in February 2019 to discuss the rights and duties of the domestic workers, and the recent legal developments regarding the Labour Code.
Moreover, the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions plans to hold a workshop on the sectoral organization with the participation of the International Labour Organization (ILO), after forming the sectoral coordinating committees for each group of trade unions operating in the same sector.
