The Regional Office of the National Federation of Education affiliated with the Moroccan Workers’ Union in Sidi Bennour province called for the organization of a protest in front of the Regional Directorate and a march towards the governorate headquarters on Friday January 11 starting at 11 am.
In its statement, the office condemned the injustice subjected on men and women in the public school and the educational system in general, expressing its concern about the unpopular and improbable policies adopted by this government with its various institutions to resolve all the pending problems and its refusal to open serious and responsible dialogue to meet the legitimate demands of all the educational workers from all categories.
The Regional Office announced its involvement in the struggle program adopted by the National Council of the Moroccan Workers’ Union, underlining a protest program against the restrictions on the trade union freedoms, praising the success of the national strike that took place on Thursday, 03 January.
The office confirmed its solidarity with the struggles of the professors who were forced to contract, the professors who were victims of the 1985 and 2003 systems, the Cell 9 professors, the diploma-holder teachers, the excluded teachers, the trainees, the educational administration cadres, the administrative and economic coordinators, the educational attachés, the technical assistants, the guidance and planning cadres, the administrators and technicians and all the affected groups.
The Regional Office called for the settlement of the file of the grade of the Cell 9 teachers, retroactively since the 2012-2013 season and the abolition of the contracts and all government decisions that affected the public service and the pension system, stressing on the integration of all the teachers who have been forced to contract in the public office sector.
