The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Libya announced in a communiqué its deportation of 165 migrants from Niger as part of a voluntary repatriation program. The migrants had been illegally living in Misurata.
The International Organization said that it voluntarily repatriated more than 16 000 migrants from Libya to their countries in 2018.
In fact, Libya is a destination for the illegal immigrants to Europe by sea.
