In Chinguitel Communications Company in Nouakchott: infringed rights, low wages and workers plan to strike

According to workers from the Sudanese company for communication, Chinguitel, the Mauritanians working in the company are planning to enter in a protest against their low wages.

The same sources confirmed that some documents have recently revealed that 15 Sudanese workers enjoy their full rights and get paid twice as much as the 200 Mauritanian workers.

The documents pointed out that the company’s management recruited 215 workers, when it opened in Nouakchott, however, most of the Mauritanian workers have resigned, in the recent years due to the non-respect for their rights, low wages and sometimes extortion by their managers.
