The General Federation of Secondary Education announced their continuation to protest against the Ministry of Education, along with the teachers’ boycott of the second trimester’s exams, while continuing to teach normally, following their boycott of the first trimester’s exams, last month.
The federation also decided to organize regional rallies and marches on the 9th and 16th January, as well as, a day of national anger on February 6th.
It is noteworthy that the General Federation of Secondary Education is asking for the improvement of their living conditions through the increase in bonuses and promotions, as well as, taking into account the profession of teaching as an arduous profession. Moreover, they are asking for the reform of the educational system and the improvement of the schools’ infrastructure.
