Following the call of the National Body of Technicians in Morocco, the technicians carried out a general strike in all the country on Wednesday and Thursday 19 and 20 December in protest against the government's non-response to their demands "for fair wages and to provide them with the adequate working conditions and decent living for a class that sacrifices and contributes significantly to the country’s development”, according to a statement issued by the body.
The body holds the government full responsible for the deterioration of the technicians’ situation on the one hand and the future consequences of its” intransigence and non-meeting of their demands” on the other hand.
