The health sector workers at Al-Tafila directorate launched a strike on 19 December to protest against the obstinacy of the Ministry of Health and its non-meeting of their demands raised months ago.
The protesters stressed the continuation of their strike until all their demands are met, including the improving of the drivers’ salaries, just like the rest of the other labour departments, as well as, the disbursement of allowances and extra hours and transport renumeration, and the reinforcement of the directorate with new cars instead of the existing ones, where drivers suffer from frequent car damages, which constitute a heavy workload on them.
