Tunisia: The employees of the Independent High Commission for Audio-visual Communication (HAICA) on strike

Yesterday, the employees and workers of the Independent High Commission for Audio-visual Communication (HAICA) staged a strike in protest against the HAICA non-implementation of the previously concluded agreements with the trade union bureau and the non-appointment of the contractors.

The employees in the HAICA ask for the appointment of all the contracting agents who have exceeded one year and a half of work in accordance with the legislation in force, including the general statutes of the public and commercial establishments for industrial and commercial activities, owned by the state or local public groups.

They also called for the appointment of those who have exceeded four years of work and the conceptualization of scientific diplomas, as well as, the appointment and improving of the working conditions for the disabled people.
