Tomorrow in Libya: Workers of troubled companies protest in front of the headquarters of the presidential council to ask for the payment of their delayed wages

The workers of more than 40 companies in Libya are expected to organize a strike in front of the headquarters of the presidential council in Tripoli, on Sunday to ask for the payment of the workers’ delayed wages for many years, despite the issuance of several decisions by the national reconciliation government.

Libya's General Federation issued a statement on Nov. 4th, in which it threatened the government to file a complaint to the International Trade Union Confederation, the International Transport Union, the International Federation of Industry, the International Federation of Services and the International Labour Organization to ask for their intervention, in accordance with the international standards.
