The employees at “Al-Hayat” newspaper have entered into an open-ended strike, since more than a week to ask about their financial dues delayed for five months.
The protesters began to reactivate the cases they filed in the Labor Arbitration Board, which they filed last winter and then relinquished in June with the closure of the Beirut office, after they agreed with the administration on the payment of their previous accumulated pensions.
The same scenario was repeated again with the case of the payment of the workers’ dues, which resulted in the filing of many lawsuits.
