The National Secretariat of the Moroccan Workers’ Union (UMT) condemned the weak and rigid approach of the government, which made their social interaction with people empty and disappointing to the Moroccan hopes, declaring its rejection of the government's targeting of the working class’ rights and interests.
The National Secretariat denounced in its statement the government’s policy in the social field and its non-meeting of the legitimate demands and aspirations of the workers, stressing the union's adherence to its demands in the social dialogue session and its rejection of any proposal that does not meet the expectations and aspirations of the Moroccan working class.
The National Secretariat pointed to the weakness and triviality of the government's offer in the last session of social dialogue, which does not meet the minimum demands of the various working groups and all the wage earners.
