The mobilization of the public school and all workers in the education and training sector’s defense in Morocco

The Executive Office of the National Federation of Education, affiliated with the Moroccan Workers’ Union, expressed its condemnation of the ministry's continued monopoly on the fateful decisions related to the educational system and workers in the sector, and called for the establishment of a serious sectoral dialogue that would settle the workers’ long-term problems.

In a statement, the Executive Office renewed its support for the struggles of professors, who have been forced to contract and ask for their integration, denouncing the systematic policy of violating the Arabic language by filling the curricula with general words and expressions away from the Arab and Amazigh national reference, which respect the linguistic diversity of the country, considering it as another attempt to jeopardize the public school.

The directors and departments of the educational institutions, public guards, principals and employers valued the struggle against their rights and urged the ministry to expedite the issuance of fair basic regulations for all the employees and groups of the Ministry of National Education, and the need to resolve the pending issues related to the affected groups.
