A new crisis has recently emerged among the employees of the d Manpower in the governorates, whose number is about 14 thousand employees and the Minister of Manpower about the ‘complementary salary’. In fact, the employees ask for similar financial dues as the Ministry of Manpower’s officials, as their salaries have been increased following the prime minister’s decision, in accordance with Law No. 81 of 2017.
The employees are also asking for the amendment of the ministerial decisions on the directorates’ resources, the settlement of the inspectors’ problems in obtaining their dues for the night inspection of the past two years, in addition to the workers in trade union elections. Moreover, they talked to the Minister of Solidarity to freeze the current board of the services until the court's decision to remove them and form a committee outside the board of directors to conduct the work of the services’ organization.
