The agreement also includes the empowerment of the governorate of “Kebili” from the full quota of the needy families, with the start of the completion of the two local units for social advancement, in addition to the completion of the road linking between the cities of “Kebili” and” Al-Hama” of Gabes province and the completion of paving 55 km of the road between “Douz” and “Matmata“. Moreover, it includes the establishment of a big market of dates and the resumption of negotiations with Algeria on the creation of a border crossing in “Al-Matrouha” area, along with the preparation of a promotional plan for the desert tourism in “Douz” and “Ouahia” in “Kebili”, as well as, to accelerate the completion of the desalination plant in the area of "Bechli Blidat Al-Gersin".
