The social media sites in Lebanon have been sharing a shocking scene of of a soldier at the rank of associate forcing a poor woman to kiss his wife's shoes.
Apparently, the woman was in dispute with the Lebanese soldier’s wife; he forced her to apologize in a humiliating way that was offensive to her dignity.
The soldier had not enough, as he filmed the woman while kissing his wife's shoes and published the video on the social media sites, which raised a state of shock and anger in Lebanon, especially in light of the growing cases of women-assaulting.
In light of the growing anger towards this terrible incident, the Lebanese army issued a statement saying: "Following the circulation of a video in the social media sites showing two women, one of whom is the wife of a military force, who forced the other women to kiss her feet, the military army command arrested the soldier to take the necessary disciplinary measures. "
