The Jordanian media confirmed, quoting the president of the Independent Trade Unions of the Municipalities Workers, the postponement of the protest scheduled for Wednesday to next Sunday due to the current difficult circumstances witnessed by the country because of the Dead Sea tragedy.
The municipal employees are asking for a savings fund, the end of service remuneration, the social solidarity fund, housing and a holiday for the employees on Saturday, as well as, the foundation's allowance, daily workers' appointment, job descriptions and public safety.
