A spokeswoman for the Public Authority of Manpower revealed that there is no strike, contrary to a report received by the authority, which said that the workers of the second contract for this project entered into strike because of their salaries’ delay for 3 months.
She said in a statement in the official account of the authority on Twitter that the inspectors of the authority went immediately to the site mentioned and found no strikes or problems at the site, and that the workers were on duty throughout the day.
She explained that the labor inspectors inspected the housing to ensure that it meets the requirements of occupational health and safety.
The authority called on employers and workers to adhere to the provisions of the Labor Law and the ministerial decrees so as to avoid being subject to penalties under the provisions of the Labor Law and to communicate with the authority in case of any labor disputes, in order to protect the rights of both parties.
