The National Executive Office of the Tunisian General Labor Union announced that workers in the banks, insurance, oil and construction sectors affiliated with their union structures decided to donate a work day to the victims of the floods in “Nabeul” governorate and to support the national effort in this crisis.
The organization's leadership also decided to provide 100 000 dinars (40 000 dollars) as an aid for the victims, which was deposited in the postal account 1818, which was created by the government.
It is noteworthy that the governorate of “Nabeul” witnessed heavy floods that caused the death of 6 people and heavy financial losses for citizens, institutions, shops and at the level of animals and plantations.
