Egypt: The dean of Tanta University cancels the contracts of a security company and three workers

The dean of Tanta University decided to cancel the contract of a security company and the contracts of three technical workers from the contractual workers of the university hospitals under the pretext of "the delay in the follow-up of the maintenance work and staying in the workshops exchanging jokes and food instead."

This sudden measure fueled the outrage and disdain for workers, who considered the university’s dean insistence on their punishment was illegal as it deprived them of their sole source of income.
