The janitors of "Ozone" company in Morocco suffer from miserable conditions

A number of “Ozone” workers, who are responsible for the cleaning sector in a number of Moroccan cities, expressed their discontent about the non-settlement of their professional and social situations.

Many Facebook pages published videos of the janitors who protested in “Eid Al-Adha” in the Kingdom. However, the company’s administration did not pay attention to their demands. Consequently, they sent a message asking for the consideration of their exhausting work, especially during an occasion like “Eid al-Adha”, where everyone is celebrating the Eid with their families except for them.

They stressed the need to redress them by raising their wages and guaranteeing their full social rights, noting that they could no longer work in the current circumstances.

It is noteworthy that the “Ozone” workers in “Sala” struck on Wednesday to express their anger at the company’s management.

In a previous e-newsletter, we revealed a video from our trade union sources about the detention of two workers in one of the company’s rooms in “Sala”, Morocco. In fact, some workers confirmed in the video the detention of four workers in total, following the administration’s orders because of their demands to improve their occupational conditions and raise their wages on the occasion of “Eid al-Adha”, pointing out that they belong to the Democratic Confederation of Labor.
