The Coordination Council of the General Trade Unions of the South announced the continuation of the peaceful protests against the government due to the deterioration of the living and economic conditions, and the continuation of the currency devaluation, low salaries and the serious collapse in services.
In a statement, the council called on the workers of the south and the southern unions to continue to mobilize and contribute effectively to the strikes and the daily peaceful protests to ask for an end to the suffering and the collective punishment imposed on the citizens of the south and the rejection of the systematic starvation policy by the government.
