The Mauritanian parliament approved on a draft law defining the principles and rules of governing the technical and vocational training in Mauritania, on last Friday.
The draft law aims to define the principles and rules governing of this sector, so that it can be integrated with the sectors of education, higher education and employment, as well as, to qualify the trainees based on professional plans, develop the technical capabilities workers and provide the contractor with means that would improve their productivity and increase their competitiveness.
The Mauritanian government believes that the draft law aims mainly at improving the national strategy for the development of vocational and technical training, aimed at organizing this training, and keep up with the developments in this field at the international level through the organization of new training activities and the ensuring of the accessibility of people with special needs to it.
