“Shaher Saad”, the Secretary General of the Palestine General Federation of Trade Unions, called on the Palestinian leadership to urge the Arab League to build a strategy to confront the American plan aimed at eliminating the Palestinian refugees inside and outside Palestine. A project that President Trump is personally in charge of with the help of his son-in-law and close adviser, “Jared Kushner”, who has recently called for the reduction in the number of refugees from 10 million to (50 000), and called on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to expel its refugees and the United Nations to reduce its social and economic assistance to the Palestinian people, as well as, to remove its mandate and aids.
He stressed that the United States does not have such a right, that it is trying to acquire by bullying and threatening the other countries of the world, exploiting the Arab collapse and the Palestinian division, in order to cover for the Israeli criminality and to create safe corridors to make Israel escape from impunity and international accountability.
He also pointed out that Trump's efforts to get rid of UNRWA and the removal of the Palestinian refugees and their exclusion from the final issues’ resolution are in vain, because the memory of the Palestinian people is stronger than all their conspiracies, including the attempts by the US administration to reverse the historical facts and put Israel in the position of the victim instead of the aggressor. The international community urge to hold the victim accountable, rather than hold Israel accountable for its crimes in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria.
“Saad” emphasized that the world has confirmed the strength of these facts, on the basis of which the world agrees on its legitimacy, foremost of which is resolution 194, which made UNRWA the most important witness to the problem of the Palestinian refugees caused by Israel.
