The General Union of Railways of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) postponed the strike scheduled for August 2nd at the National Railways Company to the 16th of the same month following an initial agreement signed on Wednesday with the Ministry of Transport.
This agreement stipulated the settling of the railway problem of line No. 13 within a period that should not exceed 15 days and the incorporation of the railway works company with the National Railways Company, as well as, the agreement on the implementation of the previously concluded agreements.
It is noteworthy that he Ministry of Transport approved the company's request to hire 175 technical workers for workshops and warehouses in accordance with the regulations in force.
