The workers of the office "Bitajib”, which controls the work of the "Jekni" street in the eastern basin, have launched a strike since last Thursday, protesting against their salaries’ delay over the past three months.
The workers stressed in a statement that the strike came after trying all the methods of negotiations with the other party. However, they were in vain as the concerned party with the workers’ salaries are still persistent in intransigence and injustice.
Under very miserable conditions, the construction of the road linking the city of “Jekni” in the eastern basin to “Al-Amal road” in "Awainat" has been underway for months.
