The wholesale market for vegetables in Sousse governorate is witnessing tension and anger among its workers, because of the sales agents’ non-payment of their debts and the workers’ demands to get 5 percent of the taxes received by the municipality of Sousse.
The wholesale market workers launched a strike on Thursday (19 July), threatening to escalate their protests in the coming days, in case that their demands are not met.
