The workers and employees of the coastal transport company entered into a strike on Thursday in the governorates of “Sousse”, “Monastir” and “Mahdia” in protest against the refusal of the Ministry of Transport to implement a previous agreement that was signed with the union party in December of last year.
The Tunisian newspaper “Al-Shaab” quoting of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) said that the agreement included mainly the settlement of professional positions for about 600 workers who were incorporated in the company, but the ministry refuses to settle their professional problem despite its previous approval.
