The Libyan Oil and Gas Workers' Union condemned the kidnapping of the engineers in “Charara” oil field last week and stressed that the oil and gas sector workers are working in poor conditions to maintain the oil production in the country, in support to people of the southern region to make all the efforts to free the abducted employees.
The union called in a statement to the board of directors of the National Oil Corporation to improve the conditions of workers in the sector and not to be subjected to any of the requests of the perpetrators of closures and extortion against the sector and workers.
