The Yemeni channel "Balqis" quoting from sources of "Safir" for Oil Company, in the province of Marib that the head of the company issued an order to form a committee to investigate with the head of the trade union in the Sanaa office.
The channel confirmed that this order came following the workers’ comments on TV through which they criticized the procedures in violation of Yemeni law and labor laws, which are committed by the company's manager “Salem Kaiti”.
It clarified that it also included the dismissal of another employee who appeared in the same program to comment on the performance of the same company.
The company’s manager threatened to take the necessary procedures to fire anyone who would talk to the media.
