The head of the general union of telecommunications workers asked the companies working in Egypt's telecom market to implement the Egyptian law, which stipulates the existence of a trade union organization within these companies, including the three mobile companies Vodafone, Orange and Etisalat.
He stressed on the need for the Ministry of Manpower to assume responsibility in monitoring the extent to which these companies adhere to the safety and occupational health of the employees and to adopt the labor regulations of these companies.
