The local federation of “Al-Hoceima” unions affiliated with the Moroccan Workers’ Union condemned the unfair and reprisal sentences issued by the Court of Appeal in Casablanca against the people of the Hirak Rif” movement and the trade unionists “Mohamed Al-Magawi”, “Mohamed Al-Mohdali”, “Youssef “Al-Hamdioui” and “Karim Ahmajik”.
The union called in a statement to release all the political and trade unionist detainees, considering that the provisions are against the interests of the nation and the aspirations of the people in freedom, dignity and social justice.
The Union also condemned all forms of militarization, intimidation, repression and provocations and arrests in the region, calling on the parliamentary group of the Moroccan Workers’ Union to submit a draft amnesty law for the detainees.
