Three workers died and another worker was injured yesterday in the city of "Shibin El-Qanater" after their fall into sewage during its cleaning in preparation for starting the sewage project in the village.
The security sources said that the workers suffocated during the opening of the sewer without taking the necessary precaution of the quantity of toxic gases, which led to the unbalance of one of them which resulted in the fall of the others, while they were trying to save him. Consequently, 3 workers died including one resident.
The victims work with a private contractor in the delivery of connections and domestic channels.
