The administrative body of the General Union of Railways of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) decided to enter the workers and agents of the National Railways Company in a strike on Monday 2 August.
This decision is due to the continued deterioration of the situation within the institution, as a result of the continued closure of Line No. 13, as well as, the attempts to attack the institution and the railway sector in general, in addition to the absence of the necessary professional conditions for work.
