The Jordanian Minister of health announced last week the start of the adoption of the results of laboratory tests electronically for migrant workers for the purposes of residence and work permits and that there will be no paper health certificates in the future.

In fact, this measure would limit the phenomenon of attacking doctors and nurses, resulting in great damages of the public properties, as well as, tension and confusion at the psychological level, hampering the work process in providing the optimal medical service to citizens, especially in the departments of emergency, which are always active.
This procedure will also ensure the provision of accurate and reliable data on the migrants, the prevention of fake health paper certificates, as well as, cementing the importance of electronic linkage in the issuance of electronic work permits to migrants, in addition to granting them residence.
