Health workers of the Sousse governorate organized an hour-long protest on last Monday morning, starting at 10 am, after that the trade union side cancelled the strike, which was expected to be on Tuesday following an agreement reached with the authorities.
The public health sector in the province witnessed tension and congestion for this period due to the delay of the supervisory authority and its non-response to the granting of the sector's social support grants and their retreat instead.
The Trade Union party also condemned the obstruction of the public expenditure controller, accusing him of obstructing the interests of the agents.
Our trade union sources confirmed that a satisfactory agreement had been reached between the two parties before having to enter on strike.
