The workers of the "Naftal" company of the fuel distribution company launched a strike, in all the headquarters of the foundation, yesterday, in protest against what they considered as the administration's disregard of their demands and against the arbitrary administrative decisions taken in their regard.
The workers expressed their rejection of the recent decisions taken by the company's administration to deprive them of the food grant, and the absence of the most basic rights, one of which is the absence of a wage scale, as well as low salaries that do not fit their diligence and demanding tasks.
The workers called on the Director-General of the Naftal Foundation to intervene to review the wage scale, cancel the recent decisions and improve the financial status of workers and their equalization with the Fuel Distribution Corporation, granting the workers all the rights, they should enjoy in the company.
The latest protest movement caused total paralysis across all the three production units, which produce about 18,000 gas flasks, which resulted in a heavy shortage of flasks in circulation.
