Our trade union sources at the public federation of municipal workers of the Tunisian General Union of Labour stated that this grant is one of the workers' gains and cannot be legally cancelled.
The public enlightenment workers and janitors have launched a strike on last Wednesday to ask for the payment of the grant, in addition to the payment of the Eid and new school year grants, which have been delayed, despite the issuance of orders and leaflets by the Presidency of the government that call for the provision of these grants to the workers.
