The Damietta Labour Court has set a session on June 4 to consider the lawsuit filed by candidates for membership of the Board of Directors of the Damietta Water and Sanitation Company, in which they demanded the cancellation of the elections.
The appellants confirmed that the elections of the board of directors were marred by electoral irregularities due to the non-representation of workers and the non-respect for the workers' right to apply the 50% of the boards of directors of public business companies, likewise in the public sector companies.
