The workers of "Tunisie Sucre " company in Bizerte governorate are expected to enter into strike on 11 and 12 June 2018.
The workers of the company are asking for the settlement of their professional status, the review of the production grant, the payment of the National Fund for Social Security and the implementation of the minutes of the session held on 16 May, as well as, the respect of the rules of the occupational health and safety.
It is noteworthy that "Tunisie Sucre " company was previously owned by one of the ousted president’s “Zain El Abidine Ben Ali” sons-in-law, it was confiscated during the Tunisian revolution and then forfeited to a Libyan investor in 2012 during the rule of the “Troika”, which was headed by “Al- Nahdha” party.
