Hundreds of factory workers launched a strike on Tuesday to protest against the amendments of the new income tax law and the civil service bureau system.
The factory workers joined the protest organized yesterday, in front of the trade union complex, in which thousands of workers and employees from many sectors and institutions participated.
In addition, since last week, the Council of Trade Unions has officially announced in press statements its adherence to the strike, after a meeting with the Council and the Jordanian Prime Minister, who refused to withdraw the bill.
