The boycott campaign by the Moroccans against the milk of “Central Danone” caused many repercussions, most notably the dismissal of more than 900 workers and the denial of health coverage to more than 20,000 young farmers from health insurance on the pretext of "damaging the company and reducing the production, causing losses to the company "amid the absence of the authorities.
The workers decided to protest against what happened next Tuesday, in front of the parliament, following the Democratic Confederation of Labour call, and to call for the sensitization of the authorities to take their social conditions into account, especially after the boycott, which resulted in the layoff of hundreds of workers.
The Democratic Confederation of Labour accused the government of being responsible, for the current situation within the company because of its non-intervention to save the social status of citizens and support their purchasing power, noting that others are likely to be dismissed.
This situation generated a shaky psychological state among the workers, a great sense of fear. In fact, they fear of the impoverishment of their families at any moment. At the same time, they do not want to clash with the citizens as they are Moroccan workers after all, and they want to reach a concrete solution to save them from this problem through the protest that will be held next Tuesday.
