The new director-general of the Standards and Metrology company threatened to review the bonuses and incentives of the employees who participated in the strike, which was declared by the trade unions in rejection to the new Income Tax Law.
In an internal correspondence to the workers, the director-general stressed that the administration will review the annual reports, bonuses and incentives of those who participated in the strike, asking them to stay in their workplaces and provide services to the citizens.
It is noteworthy that most of the employees of the public and private sectors participated in the strike in the government departments and institutions and ministries, in addition to the strike of last Wednesday in protest against the Income Tax Law.
