The Moroccan authorities called on the parliament to form a commission of inquiry to verify the news on the sexual exploitation of the Moroccan working women in Spain.
The Moroccan Labour Minister “Mohammed Yatim” said in a press statement that a committee of the ministry investigated the file and proved that all these were just rumours, pointing out that after the emergence of new data on this issue, "it is the duty of parliament to send a parliamentary committee to investigate about it."
The Moroccan minister pledged to adopt any recommendations issued by this committee, pointing out that 17 thousand Moroccans are following their seasonal work in the agricultural fields in Spain and have not received any complaints about their exposure to harassment or sexual exploitation.
