The Occupied Territories: Attempts to divide workers into an environmental quality services company

More than 150 workers from the Environmental Quality Services Company in “Naot Hofaf” of the occupied territories launched a strike yesterday, where they refrained from receiving, processing and analysing the hazardous waste in the company's landfill.

According to labour sources, this strike comes in the light of the deadlock and procrastination of the company's administration in the negotiations concerning the renewal of the collective labour agreement, which lasted more than 8 months.

In addition, the administration disqualified the distribution of donations that workers deserve as part of the company's profits during 2017. It decided to distribute these donations only to workers who did not join the syndicate, as well as, the illegal stipulation between the distribution of these donations, progress in negotiations, and the ignorance of all the conditions set by the companies’ authority to distribute these donations, aiming to divide the workers.
