The workers of the Algerian water center in Ain Saleh asked for the departure of the head of the center because of his mismanagement that harmed the stability of the foundation, which resulted in clear imbalances in financial balances, as confirmed by the trade union subsidiary, in a letter addressed to the director of the Tamanrasset unit.
This was during a protest organized by more than 50 workers in the foundation last Tuesday. The unionist party said that it will be a protest against the tension between the workers and the head of the center.
The trade union subsidiary confirmed that the president of the center has committed numerous abuses by using his authority. He conducted illegal cut of workers' wages for no reason, and insulted them by uttering obscene words against them, while pursuing a policy of intrigue and mendacity. In addition, he accused them arbitrarily and unfairly.
The unionist side asked the director of the unit in "Tamanrasset” to put an end to the violations committed by the president of the center, by informing him of what is happening, but their demands were not met, forcing them to engage in organizing a continuous protest until their demands are met about the departure of the head of the center, while providing them with minimum services for Algerian water customers.
